I have recently found out that I do indeed need surgery for C6-C7, but my surgeon is reluctant because we have now found out that the fusion I had back in 2012 has not fused and the allograft has a crack in it. I am being sent to get
Epidural Steroid Injections to manage the pain until something can be decided as to how to go about surgery. Surgeon is also concerned that I may need surgery on C8-T1 by 2016 since I have had an ACDF every 2 yrs since 2010.

How common is non fusion ? How common is cracking or fracturing of the Allograft ?? the 2010 ACDF of C4-5-6 fused great, but the C3-4 did not. Any thoughts ????
