Hi Heather, yes I get all sorts of spasms. Sometimes we I wake in the morning, my calf muscle contracts terribly and I stop it by standing flat foot as best I can till it breaks. During the day I get twitches in my leg . Quick small spasms that I can see. Feels likepopping popcorn inside my leg. Then, at bedtime the real fun begins . That's when I get restless leg symptoms which is maddening. Sometimes a warm epsom salt bath and /or a heating pad over my leg will help. And, I agree with Zookester. Its worse when my activity level is less than usual. Swimming helps me.
