Default I just dropped a bottle my foot!!!!

I'm okay, but I have a question as to what happend WHEN I DID THIS!!!!

I was emptying the recycle bin in my apartment, into a clear pastic bag. I inadvertently had my left foot underneath the bag.

Now we ALL HAVE DROPPED THINGS ON OUR FEET!!! I know I have. Years ago, I would drop a bottle, or something heavy would fall on my foot and I would go OW, and it would throb and either it would blow up and be a big bruise (yeah I did that when I was 14), or you forget about it because we ALL DROP STUFF, RIGHT.

Well, when the bottle landed on the to of my left foot (exact point was between the big toe and the one next to it but more below that point (on the top of my foot to be exact), WELL THAT WHOLE PART OF THE FOOT BUZZED. OF course it also hurt because I just dropped an empty Snapple bottle on it BUT THE BUZZING. I just stood there and said to Alan, "I think I hurt my foot, I dropped something on it and it's buzzing". Then the buzzing stopped.

What the heck did I do to the nerves in that area?? Did I shock them or something, did I wake something up or something? See, when you drop something hard on your feet, it hurts where you dropped it, then after a while, it goes away. But it doesn't buzz.

MY FOOT BUZZED. It was like plugging into a light socket for 10 or so seconds.

I have never experienced anything like that again. I ususally wear socks but I was coming out of the bathroom. But honestly, even if I had socks on, the bottle would have landed on the top of my foot and the end result would be the same.

I'm fine now, I'll probably put some ice or something, just to make sure.

Boy, these neuropathy symtoms, when they present themselves, it's like discoverying the new world or something. I never know what's going to happen.

I'm telling you, it was like being in the electric chair if they had an electric chair for the foot. Anybody understand what I am talking about????

Thanks, Melody
