Yeah Mrs.D, my feet do that too. I can just rub lotion on them and when i touch a certain area, it feels like I have a vibrating cellphone in my foot. Sometimes now, the vibrating feeling goes up my shin bone too. I do still feel things when I drop them on my feet and I definitely feel things I step on. I guess some of us loose sensation and some get heightened sensations. To my thinking, probably feeling too much is better than not feeling.

We are all in the same boat just slightly different.

We urge all doctors to take time to listen to your patients.. don't "isolate" symptoms but look at the whole spectrum. If a patient tells you s/he feels as if s/he's falling apart and "nothing seems to be working properly", chances are s/he's right!
