No, I can't take statins for cholesterol because of the side effects. I tried and had to stop them. That is why I was taking fish oil but I was only taking 2 a day and it was still too much. I have a condition that makes me very sensitive to medications so I can't take the normal dosage of anything. It doesn't take much to make me sick from the side effects. My daughter has the same condition and so did my mother. I had thought about trying to take some calcium with vitamin D. Thanks for confirming this idea and I will also look into the Qunol.
