If she has all of these sensitivities that cause an increase in head ache, she should avoid them. It may help if she can find some manual activities to do. Playing solitaire with real cards, knitting or crocheting, and any activity that requires her to use her hands (not video games) will give her brain some gentle stimulation at a slow pace. This will hopefully gently increase the blood flow through her brain.

I use the yellow foam cylinder ear plugs. I twist them tight then insert them. They block the background sounds quite well.
