So sorry that you and others experience this sort of behavior when out and about. No wonder you don't want to go out Frog and Erin .

Generally, we don't have that happen here, although it does happen from time to time; and it does tend to involve the younger crowd when it does. Otherwise, Canadians seem to be polite and will more often than not, offer their seat, their place in line ups, and even their place in line for a table in a restaurant if there are disabled folks waiting for one.

For some reason, Wal-mart seems to be an exception to that. I've witnessed and experienced all sorts of rude behavior in that place. The most common of which is when shoppers reach over someone in a scooter to get something off of a shelf, like the person in the scooter wasn't even there. Sheesh!
