I'm sorry to hear about all the traveling you have had to do on top of the TOS! I had a first rib resection and scalenectomy by Dr. Donahue at MGH and I was home in 3 days. I was very sore and I don't think you will be comfortable enough to fly initially as I had trouble in the car with the bumps and pot holes, etc.
there's a hotel right out front of the hospital which would put you in walking distance, basically a stones throw away. It used to be an old jail and the restaurant below it is called "The Clink", I'm sorry I don't know the name of it but maybe if you goggle the restaurant you will find it? Elap- another member on here may know the name.....
