You've had a lot of dentistry done in that one tiny area in a short amount of time. The swelling from the surgery may linger for a bit but the gum looks very inflamed along tooth #27 which is to the right of the one missing. Plaque accumulation can cause the graft to become infected. Were you instructed on how to clean around that missing tooth?
The wall that was most likely frail or deteriorated was probably the buccal wall which faces your lip. Generally bone graft material cannot fill this void back in. There is really no rebuilding of that wall to what it use to be. Therefore this may not be an ideal place to put a dental implant. Did your dentist talk to you about that?
If the area stays swollen past this week or bleeds, then see your dentist for an evaluation.
