Exactly, Cindy! I get so discouraged sometimes. This leg weakness started about two years ago for me, and I have detiorated since. It is so hard to say, walk from the car into the library or the store. If I fall, I can't get back up by myself, so I get really paranoid when my DH isn't in sight.

Yet, on a happier note, we moved a few months ago to a one-story home with 1.25 acres. We bought a riding lawn mower, and I finally found something I can do! I drive like a maniac up and down the slopes and around curves. It was one of the best things for me to take up lawnmowing! On the mower, I don't have to worry about my legs, or my balance, or anything else come to think of it. I just go!!
