What are you considering rare? Multiple Sclerosis(MS)?
If you have MS what you are experiencing can be quite normal, unfortunately.
Age?
MS was once known as a young persons disease diagnosed between the ages of 20 & 40. That is no loner the case. Those very young (pediatric) and those well over 50 are being diagnosed with MS.
Spinal cord lesions tend to be more symptomatic. A lesion on the cervical spine can cause symptoms from that point down and spinal cord lesions are well known for causing mobility problems.
Anyway, if you would like to post over on the MS forum you will find your experience and symptoms are not rare,
Take care!
