I've also suffered from muscle twitches since the accident I was in... because of it I've been able to physically identify random and odd muscles that I didn't even know existed prior to the twitching because the twitching made me aware of its presence.

Anyway, this twitching is considered a symptom of a kind peripheral neuropathy...

http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/p...neuropathy.htm

It can be caused by many different things like direct damage to the nerves, vitamin deficiencies or even hormonal imbalances.

Since I started the hormone treatments, the muscle twitching I have experienced has been reduced a great deal... they even completely vanished for several weeks and I thought I was completely done with them, but they started up again... and it makes me wonder if I need the hormone supplements I'm taking to be adjusted.

Keep searching for ways to mitigate symptoms like these.
