Anyway, this twitching is considered a symptom of a kind peripheral neuropathy...

http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/p...neuropathy.htm

It can be caused by many different things like direct damage to the nerves, vitamin deficiencies or etven hormonal imbalances.

Since I started the hormone treatments, the muscle twitching I have experienced has been reduced a great deal... they even completely vanished for several weeks and I thought I was completely done with them, but they started up again... and it makes me wonder if I need the hormone supplements I'm taking to be adjusted.

Keep searching for ways to mitigate symptoms like these.
Maybe so on the hormone connection because mine are only bad the week of my period then they go away for three weeks again mostly. Mine are in my cheek and around my eyes which I was told is all one cranial nerve with different branches. The leg one is the only one not in my face. I also have more twitches when I have more neck symptoms so I guess it's that pressure of my injuries pushing on nerves. I hope it goes away as my neck heals.
Did you hurt your neck EsthersDoll?
