Hi pereztaylorking,

Glad to hear that your dental implant removal went well for you!

Every case is a bit different and sometimes the swelling is present for a couple of weeks. This does not mean that the dentist did anything wrong. It could be that the surgery was more extensive and/or there is bacteria building up around the surgical site that needs to be removed on a daily basis.

Also where is Dr Indah? The person who posted this thread may or may not live anywhere near you.

Thanks for sharing your experience.... do you plan on having another implant put it that space?
