Was wondering if there are others here that have been having this problem, and has anyone found anything that helped to decrease the amount of stones?
My husband also had stone often lucky no crps on his case but my is,but for what I learned about his condition he has. Chronic kidney disease stage 3, weneger's granulomatosis, hyperlipemia, hypertnesive kidney disease with chronic kidney stones, predicable tic, proteinuria, pulmonary hypertension and many more medical conditions, but two years ago when his condition decay, his PCp recommended a diet low in calcium, take vit d 50,0000 units twice a week and changes depending on his lab work, welchol for sugar control, lovaza for cholesterol, flomax, and others med but more important uloric to reduce acid so far is working well,no kidney stones for two years, acid free is the key is hard to control what you eat remember your liver process all those meds if the liver can handle so much your kidney will pay the price, uloric is recommended for gout but work by stoping acid formation all the medsimentioned are brand name kind of expensive too but if you have ins and go to the webside of the pharmaceutical that make the med you can get a coupon that allows you to pay. Less combine with your ins,med by itself is 278.00 depending of your ins,the coupon allows you to pay only 15.00 ,talk to your dr about it ,it might work for as well, remember stay away from acid content food, drinks and too much starch ,check all kind of source in the internet in low acid diet, like Nanc said, following a right diet makes a different, hope that helps you a little, blessings good luck
