It is true, that lesions can be in various locations, that would denote some form of disability, yet, some patients don't and some do. Some can have more than others(like me) and seem physically ok, benign, and some people can have just one or two(which I've seen) and have mobility issues like you wouldn't believe.

It is worth, checking into, to see if your heart condition is a factor in any off this.

You asked, is it necessary to 'have' a neuro. Meh, yes and no. If your doctors are recommending one, it can show that you are a compliant patient, and willing to at least see one, then they can rule out everything that they can, to find out what's causing your mobility struggles.

I agree, about trying physical therapy.
