Thumbs up

Hi Guys,

I used to get crushing pain in my head for the first six months post injury, and this was horrible - my doctor didn't explain what it was but lots of people on here had it. It got worse if I over exerted myself.

Likewise I had very bad migrainous headaches and noise/light sensitivity which was relieved by a combination of Cymbalta and Sumatripan. I also got the most dreadful sinus pain, tootache and earache.

Nearly a year and a half on a new doctor has diagnosed me with Neuralgia and this is partially controlled by Lyrica, Cymbalta and a Tryciclic Antidepressant. Things do get better and I have been working full time for over a year.

I still have bad toothache (had both of my back molars removed - possibly needlessly), pain in jaw/cheek, temple and earache. It is there every day now and moves from one place to another.

At one point I thought I was cured, but perhaps my head trauma has given me long term symptoms. However the majority of people recover fully - so keep this in mind.

Symptoms mostly resolved, working full time and I am now mostly better. I wake 6am daily since my injury. Was experiencing daily Neuralgia which was controlled with Cymbalta 30mg, Lyrica 200mg daily. Now only on 30mg Cymbalta.
