What you take depends on from where the pain originates. My BF, who had a 7-level lower back fusion many years ago, had good results from the Fentanyl patch. He has to swap out meds maybe once a year because he gets too used to them.

Hope you find something to help! In the meantime, maybe look for a cushion made for a wheelchair user.
