Do you notice whether or not the shoes or socks you wear might have any effect on this?

Ii go around here barefooted or in the sloppiest slippers you could imagine, because they don't bother my feet. Meanwhile, most of the pretty shoes I have are sitting there never to be worn again...

I have wondered about sensitivity to the materials in our shoes and socks.
