Oh...kidney stones are AWFUL!! I had one about 6 months or so after I got RSD and it was terrible. I don't normally swear but I was literally on the floor yelling out slews of some of the worst profanity I know...something my boyfriend found quite humorous. I don't honestly think I was in my right mind and believe I have blocked a lot of it out.

Thankfully...I only had the one and haven't had a reoccurrence. I think in my case it was diet related. I completely cut soda out of my diet (trying to follow the 4 Fs diet)...and I think that impacted me. Not so much that what I was drinking instead was high in calcium...but that changing my diet like that (I ONLY drank soda before...NOTHING else) I think changed the way I was processing things. Or maybe I was just unlucky...who knows?

But I hope you get better soon and the kidney stones stop. Seriously...wouldn't wish that on anyone...it was AGONY (and that's coming from someone with RSD so I think I know about pain). I had the worst sharp, stabbing pains in my back...made it really hard to breathe.
