Renee,
No need ever to apologize and please vent away that is what is so great about this forum - we all get it!!
Regarding the lawsuit. No need to explain or feel any shame or guilt in trying to protect yourself and your family from the financial toll that something like this will take on someone, especially when someone else is at fault. I don't think any of us would judge you for trying to stand up for yourself!!
Unfortunately Renee endometriosis can recur in a small percentage of people even after the uterus and ovaries are removed, this risk is even higher if the endo was growing outside of the uterus. Many dietary changes can improve the pain caused by endo especially if consuming foods that are exposed to hormones (ie; dairy products, chicken, beef and trans fats). Additionally there are other things that mimic endometriosis such as PID, Diverticulosis, IBS, Iterstitial cystitis and a few others that you may consider ruling out along with seeking a consult with your OBGYN about your ongoing pain and new findings from your recent operation. Are you still set up for your GI studies?
Regarding your PM - can you place a call to the office administrator or his physicians assistant to inquire about the scheduling issues, to see if there is any alternatives to remedy this short of changing PM's? Don't be afraid to voice your concerns about feeling like your appointments are being intentionally cancelled - it may be coincidental (let's hope it is) but, asking point blank should set you at ease or worse confirm the need to find a new PM. It is important for your overall care to feel confident in your care team!!
Wishing you the best Renee,
Tessa
