Default Computer Chair / Station Ideas

Hello!

I did something really stupid and bought a new computer chair. I threw out my old one that worked very well before vetting the new one. Now I am out of options!

My old one was a big tall executive high back executive chair. It had the adjustable height. I pulled it up to a desk and it worked just fine.

But every single chair I have tried to replace it with makes my left fingers numb. I have tried big executive comfortable chairs, wood chairs, metal chairs, fabric chairs, even the fit stability ball - all of them make my pinkie go numb.

What has been ok:
Sitting on a tall wood bar like chair at my high bar like table. I think it may be that my feet are not on the floor but "perched" on a rung on this high chair. It works great and no symptoms but I am not sure I want to use this little wood chair for a long period.

Sitting sideways on the couch - may back against the arm rests and my feet up on the couch half bent (computer perched between my stomach and knees).

Sitting in my living room chair with my feet perched on the coffee table.

It seems having my feet up helps somehow.

Anyways....I am putting all options on the table...

standing desk?
get an ipad?
bean bag?
some sort of multilevel sectional couch that allows you to contort yourself all over the place?! haha.

please, what works for you?

I think my standard chair way of life is dead forever.

THANK YOU!
