I try to change positions throughout the day -- every 2 hours or so.

I have a sit-to-stand desk (workrite for the office, geekdesk for home), adjustable monitor arms, a kinesis contoured advantage pro keyboard and 3 different chairs.

Among the chairs that I rotate between:
- Human scale saddle seat
- Office master DB53 discovery mid back
- Lab workbench stool with foot ring. (hard plastic). Kinda looks like the -- Deluxe 5 Way Adjustable Polyurethane Stool (if you google it). I don't know the exact kind that I have.

Each chair requires a different desk height.

Early on -- I was told that I need to "switch it up" throughout the day. Perfect posture in the perfect chair for a perfect 8 hours a day -- is NOT perfect.

So, that's what I do. I do find standing at the keyboard for a few hours a day very helpful.
