Hi jammyh,
Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

It sounds as if a second opinion is in order. It's a pity you will have to wait so long to see the 2nd Neurologist.

The proximal weakness and breathlessness could be caused by many things.
Same with positive Babinski and pronator drift.

There is a
Neuromuscular Forum

You could also try doing a full forum search for specific words or groups of words...
e.g. Positive Babinski or Proximal Weakness.

Forum Search Feature

You'll find they'll come up on a number of different forums.
You can search both Threads and Posts.

If you need any help navigating the forums, please just post again and someone will be sure to help you.

All the best to you with your health and in getting correctly diagnosed.
