Hopefully they can use those blocks to stop the RSD in its tracks. When they catch it early, the better the chance of the blocks helping.

I have it in the right foot and leg, so Im not familiar with what happens in the upper part of the body. I sure will be praying they can put it into remission with those blocks

There are others here with it in the arms and hands, they will be better at helping with what you might expect. Just remember this place is full of support.
