I had a car accident broke a rib in 2013 Dec... had pnemonia after and did not seem to heal well that is about all I know I had pain in my one foot when I first tried to move it... seemed to get better then came back.

I had the MRI cause of the rib pain I still have not sure it is the rib... it should be healed by now. I had neck and back issues I am 54 so not sure what is being old and what is maybe something is hurt... I did not talk to the doc about this his nurse said there was no spinal cord compression and said maybe I did not need to see him so I asked her to mail it to me so I could see it and maybe decide myself if I need to see him...

MRI cervical thoracic and lumbar spine.

Cinical idication pain in back radiating pain to front rule out spinal cord compression.

Initially sagittal sequences were obtained through the cervical thoracic and lumbar spine. Axial sequences were obtained through specific disc levels of concern.

Vertebral body height is preserved. Bone Marrow signal intensity is normal. The conus is situated at the L1-L2 level
and appears normal.

There is no evidence for spinal cord compression. The spinal cord demonstrates normal signal intensity and morphology.

The Spinal canal is preserved.

At C3-C4 there is a generalized posterior osteochondral bar with more focal right lateral and left lateral components . There is moderate narrowing of the left neural foramina and moderate to severe narrowing of the right neural foramina.


At C4-C5 there is a generalized postf the right neural foramina and moderate to severe narrowing erior osteochondral bar. CSF remains interposed between the osteochondral bar and the spinal cord. There is mild to moderate narrowing of the right neural foramina and mild narrowing of the left neural formina

At C5-C6 there is a posterior osteochondral bar. There is mild narrowing of the right neural foramina and moderate narrowing of the left neural forsmina.

At C6-C7 there is a generalized posterior osteochondral bar. There is moderate narrowing of the right neural foramina and moderate to severe narrowing of the left neural foramina.

At L3 -L4 there is a ver mild posterior disc bulge.

That is it.. I don't see any cause for my foot back or rib pain... it makes no sense.. to me tho so maybe it is saying something I do not understand at all..
I was expecting something for the rib area which I think would be in the T or L...nope nothing there.

I broke my foot two months after the accident falling down the stairs...
I had another accident in 85
where I was injured so have a previous mri to compare...

What does this mean to anyone here... lately I woke with the feeling I had been hit in the head with a bat... have a buldging blood vessel in the side of my head ... had an eye exam and a blood test yesterday to check for arteritis... inflamation of the blood vessel wonder if inflamed blood vessels could be causing all this pain...
