Going by clothes is a good idea (personally I can't weigh myself at home anyway, or at my GP surgery as they don't have sit on scales).
I'd like to get back to a UK size 12/14 rather than 16/18 - but one of the biggest problems I find is actually getting to the shops to buy fresh fruit and veg. I tend to buy frozen veg because of that, but can't find a similar way to do fruit (I have dried fruit, but don't like tinned so much, plus it's heavy to carry back).
