Default 2nd crown on root canal and crowned tooth

I had the 2nd to last L upper molar with a 20 year old filling , about 20 years ago I had a Dentist remove that old filling and replace it with white one right before my trip to the Caribbean. 2days after I had discomfort and called my dentist I was concerned I had never had a toothache before in my life. He assured me it was normal and to take Tylenol and have a great trip. After landing my father inlay who is a DR took one look at me and asked why is your left side of your face so swollen? I had no pain and no clue!! Told him about the filling I had replaced . 6 hrs later I am in pain still unsure and not wanting to spoil everts fun I dealt with consistently worse pain day by day, Dad gave am a script for pain meds but by day 4 I could no longer pretend,in the wee hours my husband and I with the help of our hotel located an American dental on this island with a ver carrying dentist that after one look said I had an infection and after "cleaning" and removing the "filling" ,X-ray he shared with us that whom ever did my filling was incompetent and did not fill the tooth causing an "air pocket " and the infection most likely started before I left .flying and snorkeling made it worse and he was so grateful I decided not to dive. He did a prep for root canal and temp filling until I got back home the next day . I phoned my dentist who said it was not an emergency !! I contacted an Endodotist who wanted me to come right away. He complimented the work prep and did a root canal ,temp crown and crown good for 20 years , had it replaced about 1 year ago and have had mild pain, saw my dentist he removed the temp crown ,banged around and on the tooth ...nothing?... Send me to a specialist ,who's did the same thing ..found nothing wrong . ( I have had mild gum discomfort since ) I get my teeth cleaned every 4 months I like Dentists have never been scared ....Now for about 2-3 weeks the left side of my yaw is hurting I saw my dentist who again banged on the tooth and surrounding and nothing.. But when I touch the back of the crown along the gum it hurts but it is not swollen or infected ... The lower half of my yaw one is sore to touch and opening my mouth will cause pain as well as tongue touching around the crown??? I went to Urgent Care 2 days ago they prescribed me Clindamycin for 10 days 4xa day for possible sinus infection stated the meds would help if it turns out to be dental as well. 2nd day ... in ....No improvement !! Should I give it a few more days. Do you thing it is the tooth? Any other suggestions, pain is ver unpleasant.
