Default has anyone tried "off-label" rTMS?

Thanks for this, soccertese. I hope this team is able to proceed with their trials, demonstrate success, and get approval to use this to treat PD patients.

In the meantime, I am wondering if any community members have experience with "off-label" rTMS for PD. rTMS is approved for treatment of depression, and there are some places in the U.S. and Canada that appear to take on PD patients, with no promises (not that there are ever any promises...) that it would work. I think you'd have to change the specifications (location, intensity, frequency, duration) a bit, but I'm wondering if it is worth a try.

I ask for my mother, who had a brilliant honeymoon on Sinemet for 4 years until the bottom fell out about four months ago. She is now having horrible dyskinesias and the doctors are having a hard time getting it under control.

Anyway, I'd be very curious to hear if there are any experiences with rTMS for PD.

Many thanks, and best wishes.
