This has been a really fascinating thread. I'm not much of a drinker now (although my college years were certainly a different story) nor do I do drugs but I find myself every now and then wanting to pop open a nice cold beer (imported from Prague - I only drink the best lol) to enjoy out on my balcony in the evening. Intellectually I know that at this point in my recovery that's a no-no. But to get anecdotal evidence as to exactly why it's a bad idea helps curb the urge.
