Default Relief of Head Pressure, Headaches, Migraines

Hey, this is one of several posts I hope to put up.

I’ve struggled with PCS the past 2/3 of a year, and the past three months more migraines and temporal headaches.

Relief of Head Pressure
I used to have a terrible head pressure that got worse when I tried exercise, breathed deeply, or too much stimuli.

What I found to be a huge relief was to massage or just dig my fingers around my TMJ. This is the fleshy spot about 2 in. below the ears. It opened up my head so much. Massaging my neck and other parts of the body helped a ton as well. I use beastie balls, and a foam roller (links below) as well as golf balls for the feet. They are much more affordable than massages. I also stretch my jaw out, moving it side to side, forward and back, open as big as I can, as many ways as possible. Pulling on hair and moving it in circular directions and scalp massages help get blood flow going as well. I have had almost no pressure in my head since this.

Improve Vestibular System
Stretching your ears out is huge! I listened to a podcast about the facial massage. As with the jaw, stretch as in as many directions as possible. A world class triathlete said he noticed his vestibular system after a few days of this. After having no ear wax for almost a month from constant ear plug use, I had ear wax the next day and I was ecstatic! You may not want to do this all day, everyday, but once or twice a day could be beneficial.

Improve headaches and migraines and life!

Life a Paleo lifestyle- check out the paleo diet

Cut foods that trigger them- wheat and other gluten containing foods, all grains (at first until find food sensitivities), chocolate (carob is a good alternative- no caffeine or theobromine), dairy (especially aged cheeses), nuts (except almonds) alcohol, ARTIFICIAL SWEETNERS-especially Aspartame! Nitrites, MSG, any preservatives that are not natural ( most are not natural)

Detox diets- they repair your leaky gut syndrome-inflammation spreading through the body from holes in the intestines caused by food)

A good detox takes at least 21 days.
Histamine containing foods could cause headaches/migraines. Check out which foods contain them.

I’ll add more another day, but I hope someone gets benefits from this. I think the diet is the most essential part.
