Default Back to the basics

The last month and a half off (I am currently out of school - thank god) I have reduced my cognitive effort and stimuli astronomically, I have been watching a little tv, doing a little reading, but no more than 1 hour a day. (before I was around 8 or 9 hours due to school)

I have also started moderately exercising, I firstly started at slow paced walking for 15 minutes which produced no symptoms, and I have gradually increased the time and pace for the last month and a half and now I can do around 30 minutes at an average pace.

Quite often on online forums, and in real life I meet people who are suffering with PCS and are thinking about expensive complex therapies. Myself included. Many people forget the basics - reduce cognitive load and light exercise, or at least movement promoting good blood flow.

I have suffered from PCS for around 2 years now, and I have improved more in the last month and a half than I had over the previous 22 months. I brain had the capability of improving, I just had to let it.

I just thought I would post this reminding people that too many of us do not allow our brains to heal with quiet rest.
