The unused ac adaptor statements I made are not aimed at anyone in particular, but many many people leave the ac adaptors plugged in when not in use. Don't assume just because you correctly plug them in when you actually need them, that everyone follows that example.
How many people plug in the cell phone ac charger and simply unplug them from the phone and go ? Alot.
So anyway, you did get a Kindle Fire ? The new one ?

Oh, I have something to share with all of you in case anyone is hearing impaired. We use TV ears in this house. In all my life, I have NEVER heard sound quality like that. I never put the volume up on my TV. My husband is severely hearing impaired so he needs the TV Ears and listens at his own level. When I got my own headset and I heard the sound, WELL!!!! let me tell you. Hands down, best thing I ever invested in. It separates the audio from the music background and you hear EVERYTHING. I keep it at the lowest level. I'm not a big tv watcher. We watch a few shows together but he really loves his TV Ears.

The other day the switch/volume on my TV ears headset was giving me a problem. I called them up and the guy walked me through setting it right. I took the headset apart (I actually did this) using a screw driver. I then took the same screw driver and just tightened a little knob right where the volume/onswitch thing was.

I was never so proud of myself. I put it back together (the guy was on still on the phone laughing as I was talking to myself as I was doing this). When I turned it on and it WORKED, I got all excited. He said "See, you learned something new today"

I learn something new EVERY DAY. Believe me.

So if any of you are looking to invest in a good set of headphones and you have others in the house who don't need an headphones, these are perfect. You can have others watch regular tv with the sound on, and you can use the tv ears. Me?? I prefer the TV Ears. LOVE the sound quality and I don't disturb anyone downstairs. My house is nice and quiet.

Can't beat that
