Since my onset of RSD from south-headed SLAP repair, I have had a hernia surgery, appendectomy and 3 surgeries for melanoma. No RSD complications with the melanoma surgeries but I have had intermittent intense sensations of heat about the areas of the hernia and appendix surgeries, however, sometimes bad enough to double me over momentarily. Amazingly my neck seems to have escaped the RSD sequellae and complications.
