I'd been attempting to rule out Multiple Sclerosis for the past few months. I've had blood tests, an MRI, and an EMG done. Blood tests had shown that my B12 levels were sufficient, my iron was fine, and I show no signs of Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, parasites, or any auto immune disease. Metabolic, total blood count, and thyroid panels came back fine, too.

This past Thursday I had an EMG (ouch). The tech said my peripheral nerves are in excellent shape and show no signs of PNS dysfunction.

Friday I got the results of my MRI. While I don't have the official summary in front of me, the nurse said they found an 11 mm periventricular malformation adjacent to the lateral anterior horn (right side). The malformation did not a clear feed or drain path. Multiple Sclerosis was unlikely, and they suspect it is a slow flow vascular malformation. They said it's not an AVM, and there's little chance of rupturing. However, they want to do another MRI in 6 months to see if there are any changes in my brain.

I wouldn't have been so worried about the rupture thing, other than the fact that I've been having sharp pains in that area for months (off and on). When they'd taken the MRI, the pains sort of had been gone for a month or two. Now they've come back full blast (along with other pains in my limbs).

I have a copy of the MRI. I've been looking at it myself in relation to the area they were referencing, and I believe I've found the lesion. If by any chance there's anybody who could possibly look at it and give me any more info than I already know, I'd be more than grateful to provide the images along with a pinpoint of exactly where I believe the lesion is.
