That sounds weird. I'm not sure, your appendix I thought is on your right? I'm not sure because I still have mine. (for now lol) I do know that that is where the last part of your colon is (it forms an upside down U). Maybe you have some sort of intestinal upset? I imagine the pain must be pretty bad if you're considering the ER. I don't really have any decent ideas (I have celiac, every time someone has pain in their guts I'm like OMG THEY SHOULD GET TESTED!!! which isn't exactly helpful) but I hope you feel better soon.

I guess if the pain started when they poked around in there you should definitely get checked out by someone, even if it's just a regular doctor or the doc who took your gallbladder. I never had complications from having mine out (thankfully) and am quite happy to be rid of the thing. It was nothing but trouble.
