Steve,


Call that pharmacist in the capitol back to talk about the panic attack with the Chlorpheniramine Maleate. Anxiety is listed as a side effect.
  • Perhaps it interferes with other medications.
  • Perhaps you can benefit from a smaller dose.
  • Perhaps you could take it every other day.
  • Maybe you could time it in such a way as it has a half life of 21-27 half life.
  • . . which is why I think you could ask if it could help you every other day.


This site suggests not to take it with caffeine, aspirin, tylenol, or Topamax

It seems to have some SSRI and/ or SNRI properties -- the pharmacist would know more.
