I just saw a regular eye doctor. I forget what his actual title is.

My insurance doesn't cover neuro-oph (I can't remember how to spell it) visits for members anymore, but I found a loophole: If my eyes do not get better, and another doctor says he thinks I'd benefit from seeing a neuro-oph, my insurance will pay.

I'm going to keep calling my doctor, build up a record of failed treatments, and pray that I can get into the specialist. I don't know what else to do. I can't afford to pay it on my own (I already called for prices).
