Default Persistent ear pressure

Hi,

My mom is still recovering from her concussion and is still having a lot of ear pressure. The pressure is causing her pain and the pain she says seems to be running into her jaw a bit now. I've done a little research, and I think it might be possible that she has perilymph fistula (PLF). I've told her to see the doctor and she has agreed to on Wed. She takes medicine for her allergies and that helps a little with the pressure, but it doesn't completely take care of it. I understand that doing the valsalva maneuver isn't a good idea if she does have PLF, but is there something else she can do to help this? Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks
