The Krill oil has phospholipids attached to the EPA and DHA which improves solubility and then absorption. This leads to better blood levels compare to regular fish oils which need bile salts to emulsify them for absorption. (this latter function may fail).

Therefore the Krill oil is more potent and effective in the smaller caps. Estimate is 300mg of Krill is equal biologically to one of the larger fish oils (usually at one gram).

I think the Krill oil is superior, at least for me it is.

Starting this week June 12, Costco has a nice $5.00 coupon on each version of MegaRed. I'll be getting ours and stocking up a bit, therefore.
