I think gradual change for the better is good.
I recall a relative use to put a lot of sugar in her morning coffee. One day, she decided to put only one teaspoon. She did that for awhile...then very gradually, lowered it. I think first 3/4, then 1/2, then 1/4, then nothing! It took about 10 months, I estimate. A big treat was occasionally adding 1/4 tspn of sugar to her coffee.
I was only a little girl...but I recall it to this day. A great lesson.

It might be a good idea for a co. To try reduced sugar (no fake sugar though) chewable vitamins for adults.

I eat fairly healthy, but sugar really is very hard for me and my husband to give up. We've greatly reduced it though. Just so tempting, etc. And, I suspect, so bad for us. Like I said....gradual change for the better is good!!!! (As well as choosing our battles!)
