I lost my doctor last year. He bailed out and joined the MD VIP program in anticipation of this year's changes.

I still see him for lyme disease, but he won't see me for my many other ailments unless I pay him an extra $1600 a year. I didn't, even though I probably could have, but he had so many of his elderly and disabled patients upset that they did, and those are the people who can afford it the least.

I have no choice but to see him for the lyme, as finding doctors who actually treat lyme is almost as scarce as hen's teeth, but I am extremely unhappy with him. I'm pretty sure that the Hippocratical (or should I say 'hypocritical') oath is 'First, Do No Harm'.
