Well, Tramadol in high dose causes seizures in some people.
(also hallucinations)

Doctors can remain rather clueless about drugs. Sad but true.

The numbness may resolve with time. Peripheral nerves can be compressed with swelling and tissue damage. That can resolve fast or slow --more slowly if they have been severed, or more quickly if only compressed.

The Omega-3's in the fish or krill oil are really important. I think you have covered most of the bases so far.

He will just need some time. Tissue repair is helped with good protein in the diet and also zinc. So look on your Centrum to see if zinc is in there. The biotin in the Centrum will also be helpful for the skin to heal.
