Default Ssd & Ltd

I received SSD without any problems. I had to hire an attorney to get LTD.
I worked for an insurance company. The local office handled short term disability for me without any problems. Then it was time to go on LTD.

The home office of the insurance company where I worked had a doctor who reviewed claims for LTD. He was a neurologist but not a Parkinson's disease specialist. He denied my claim. He stated that I was diagnosed in 1993 and it was then 2000. He asked the question--why aren't you better?

The home office tried to get me to take very sedentary jobs. That was strange. It was because of my job with the insurance company being so sedentary that I had to leave my job. Sometimes I was so stiff it was hard to make it to my car after work.

The home office also tried to get me to take a job selling cars. I know nothing about cars and have no sales experience anyway.

They backed down when I got a lawyer and they know my lawyer is waitng in the wings in case they try to deny my benefits again. To use a little baseball lingo this time of the year, my lawyer is in the bull pen in case he is needed.
