Hi Sitke,

There's nothing to say it has to be an either/or kind of thing. Have you tried looking into something like...

migraine with seizure

I don't know if a general neuro will have the knowledge/expertise. I got the runaround (and a case of guinea pig syndrome) from neurologists until—by accident—I found out about "the headache guy"—a neuro whose practice was limited solely to headaches/migraine, board-certified in headache medicine.

Similarly, there's a board certification in seizure disorders. As many specialists now have multiple certificates (and I'm jes' spitballin' here... ), there may be one—or a clinic/practice—board certified in both seizure disorders AND headache medicine(?)
