If you are seeing flashing lights this is telling me you are having a simple partial (aura) sz. that is leading into possibly an absence or complex partial sz. This is been happening to me for over 40 yrs.
When you start to see the flashing lights that's the time to tighten your muscles and fist to see if it will stop the sz. Another thing you can do is put a cold washcloth of your face 3 times a day at the same time and anytime you start to feel a sz. start up this is called "Cold Water Therapy" The Cold water calms the neurons down in a persons brain when they start to fire up and have a sz. but when the cold washcloth is put on the face and back of the neck it will often stop the sz.
