There are good chiros and not so good.. that one sounds not too good..

But there are very good ones out there, you just have to find them..
Did your x rays /MRIs show any specific issues?
You can request the written report , or maybe even the images on a dvd/cd..
You might look for PT or DC that has a low level laser (also called cold laser or soft laser..)
The one I went to had one of those and it was great for my pain areas. The chiro I went to was also very gentle & easy with adjusting, and used many PT modalities so it saved me going to PT and to a DC..
I recently went to a new DC for low back pain from a L5 that slips around a bit.. she used flexion/distraction, Gua Sha and added some Kineisio Tape for support.
She couldn't get my thoracic spine to pop, but she didn't force anything when trying .
I only needed to go 3 times , so far so good.
