Unhappy yes crows are awful...

We heard a big commotion one day on vacation, my son and I, so we followed it into the woods. The gang of crows had found a bat in a tree and were harrassing it. We found it trembling on the ground...so we covered it with a flat piece of wood propped up so it would be protected.

Another day we saw and heard a commotion across the bay (there is a home across from us) so we got the binos out and watched. These crows systematically went thru all the trees around our neighbors, and "tossed" out baby birds from nests. They did about 5 different trees while we watched in horror. We didn't know how mean crows can be until then. I call them gangsters now.. the Tony Sopranos of the bird world. They also chase eagles that we can see. But then Terns also chase hawks and eagles.
