Not sure if its a seizure though. Like today I tried to take a nap but couldnt. This happened twice when I was dozing off and woke me up.
Hi Kevbo887,

If this is happening when you are trying to go to bed or waking up it could be sleep disorder related and you may be having sz. do to lack of sleep. My advice to you as I mentioned before is to have a sleep study done with an e.e.g. at the same time by doing this the Dr. will be able to tell if you are having sz. in your sleep, and if you have sleep apnea or any other sleep disorder that can be causing the sz. The pins and needles type of feeling can sometimes happen to people who do have epilepsy. Also when a person has sz. before they go to sleep and when they wake up they are called myoclonic sz. I had them for awhile until I went on vimpat and once I got on that drug this type of sz. stopped. Here's wishing you only the best of luck and May God Bless You!
