Yep, Sal, they do come apart quickly, that's why someone suggested cutting them into smaller pieces and it worked for me. The directions do say to use moderate pressure, kind of that "let the tool do the work" approach.

They are pretty remarkable though, I like Mr. C's eraser, but just for those little, odd jobs. For the rest, I prefer letting someone else do it.
